My computer just restarts like after a while of being on. why is this? theres no software bug and no hardware bug that we know of (power mainly) so what can it be?

Do you get a Blue screen ? if so check your memory, using memtest86, need to create a bootable CD or floppy
if you dont have a blue screen check your PSU power supply , maybe its not enough powerful

Sounds to me like you've picked up a bug somewhere. I'd do a thorough scan of your system with an anti-virus, a trojan scanner, ad-aware, spysweeper and spybot search & destroy.
Good luck. :)

it is either memory, motherboard, or a faulty PSU(power supply)
i would check all those, maybe swap with a friends.

This is probably a faulty PSU, or an overheating problem. Try running Prime95. If it fails, buy a better CPU heatsink w/Arctic Silver. If not, then change your PSU.

You might try opening the case and blowing out any dust that has accumulated.. most likely the comp is overheating.
